De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

We wanted to have lunch here at 1:30 PM, but they had a breakfast/lunch buffet for 22 euros until 2:00 PM. From 2:00 PM onwards, you could order from the à la carte menu. However, the menu was more geared towards dinner. We were served in a friendly manner and had a cup of coffee on the terrace by the water.

Delicious scones, especially the ones with cinnamon!

Worst waffle ever. Kept warm inside a closed oven, not re-heated with the iron. Soggy, sugary crap. Straight to the bin. The salted caramel sauce was also store bought and horrible. Business like these cater only to tourists who won’t return.

Royalvis is the best fish restaurant in Amsterdam. We come here every year from Bavaria, 900km away, and always look forward to a delicious fish platter.

Kudos to Mark @ Burger Bar at Prinsengracht tonight. He handled my order, cooked it up and delivered it while dealing with several other customers and didn't miss a beat. Delicious burger and fries!! 😋😋

Be careful when ordering the steak! The menu lists 400 grams for €15.50, but when you order, they ask how many grams you want. The minimum is 400 grams, but the price turns out to be €15.50 per 100 grams. That is how we suddenly received a bill of €56 for the côte de boeuf.

It was my birthday and we had such a lovely and tasty dinner party. The service was very good and friendly people! I can advice this place to everybody who want to have a lovely evening together with friends or family!

Absolutely amazing turkish breakfast. Everything was fresh and served within minutes. Great service. Coffee was also nice. Neat and clean environment. Staff was very friendly I would love to come back.

Really good stop for modern Mexican food, easy to find right on the main road. We ordered beef nachos to share, along with chicken tacos and mushroom tacos, the mushroom option being a solid vegan choice. Everything was really good, the nachos especially stood out, generous serving and worth the price. The space itself has a nice, modern Mexican vibe to it, and staff were friendly and spoke English, which made ordering easy. On price, we paid under thirty euros total, sharing the nachos between us, good value for the quality and portion size. Best for anyone wanting solid Mexican food with vegan-friendly options in a modern, welcoming setting.
