De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Came by two weeks ago. Friendly, but quite bad service. It was almost empty, but still they forgot orders, got some (very simple) orders wrong, and seemed more busy with themselves than with guests.

The chicken fried rice was very good, the service was friendly, and the portions were very generous. I recommend it.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. Cozy atmosphere but a bit popular. The pizzas were quite pricey for a quick bite before going to a show.

We were unruly ejected from Soho house. A snob factory. We found friends in Tea and Cahravan and the gang. Up the Schhhumbags.

A comfortable atmosphere and excellent food

We arrived late and nothing was open. The food wasn't good. Carpaccio with ice. But the most annoying thing was that the waiter (the one who says he's from Belgium) gave my husband an advert about erotic museums and places where they do dirty things when we came as a family with two children. One of them, especially, could understand everything from that little book. And a crazy one.

Stopped in here about 3pm for a bite because my partner ... who happens to be from indonesia ... was a hungry while I was not. She had not eaten this morning while I had eaten a big breakfast. She wanted to order the 29 euro Sama Sebo Special for herself while I would just have a few bites of hers. The restaurant refused to allow her to do that if I was at the table and wanted us both to pay 29E if I took even one bite of her order. We declined and were charged 8E for the small bottles of water they brought us (which we are finishing as I write this review) Looking around my partner says the food she sees on others tables does not look authentically prepared anyway and the portions are small so we havent missed anything. Its a small place, busy, and the atmosphere is a little bit noisy.

I don’t write reviews often anymore. However I do want to help you save some money . Just go ahead and skip this restaurant. Go to China town a little bit from here. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Maybe it was just a slow night or low effort. Whatever the reason I just regret going.

I used to eat here often in the past. Always with mixed feelings: the price/quality ratio wasn't quite right. Went again tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Food is very good, fresh, diverse, and the service is excellent. €150/200 p.p. for big eaters, including drinks. The only point for improvement: the interior is due for a renovation. See you soon!

Great place for fries, the food was fresh and tasted great, very very limited seating so expect to eat standing up or on the move, would definitely recommend though

Friendly staff and a great menu. Unfortunately it was just a bit too loud in the restaurant as the conversations from the nearby group made it difficult to enjoy the evening.

I stopped by as I was wandering the city. The cafe faces the canals and was not in a busy touristy area. Everyone spoke English and everyone was friendly. I had a latte, croissant, and homemade jam. It was very nice to sit in peace and watch the day around me. The jam was incredible!

Chilean restaurant right by the canal, good empanadas and postre. Enjoyed just having drinks and small plate, the staggering was very friendly. Good atmosphere.

Very good concept of salad and entrecote or small sole in the bone with french fries. Lovely staff and wines are well priced. Some great Classics desserts too like Ile Flottante.

Everything was great, we‘ll be coming back!
