Amazing food with great value for money… I recommend this place 100%

This was quite a tasty experience and the welcoming atmosphere was just an added bonus. Given we were koi Americans traveling abroad, I communicated with the staff prior to our visit to notify them of my wife’s guide dog. They had no concerns with her needs, placed us in a spot that was perfect for everyone’s comfort and would not be in the way for service. This is to say, I recommend this restaurant as being very accessible and accommodating. Regarding the food, we went with the 12-Dish Rijsttafel which is a rice banquet that balances flavors across tiers of mild and medium dishes with plain and coconut rice. They also have an 18 dish option but since there was only two of us, 12 was more than enough. Each dish was different, flavorful, and a great mix of meat and vegetables. Highly recommend visiting.

Reserved via Dinestar but it hadn't gone through to management. So there we were, the six of us, standing there on a Saturday night. They asked if we'd perhaps like to go eat tapas at the neighbors'; the inexperienced manager could arrange that for us. She just made her problem our problem. Without hesitation. Reserved two weeks ago!!! A massive fail for this customer-unfriendly restaurant with inexperienced staff.

Probably the worst burgers I have ever had in Amsterdam.

We have eaten here twice already. The hamburgers are delicious, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The portions are generous. The staff is friendly and the service is very prompt. A place to remember.

We ate here last Friday before going to a concert at AFAS Live. And wow, what a great experience! The food was top-notch (though it did take a while) and the service was truly amazing. We were served very well by the dark-skinned young man and the young man in the black blouse. My sincere compliments to you! Definitely worth repeating, I will absolutely be back here!

Really enjoyed my visit here! The bowl was fresh, colourful and packed with flavour, and everything tasted really good. The girl serving me was super nice and helpful, which made the whole experience even better!! Only small thing: the avocado was a bit dark and didn’t seem as fresh as the rest of the ingredients. Other than that, everything was on point, and the price was pretty reasonable for the portion and quality. Definitely a nice spot for a fresh and filling meal in Amsterdam!!

Had a delicious meal! However, I immediately suffered from decision fatigue after studying the menu. After much deliberation, I decided on the sea bass cerviche. Top-notch, super vinaigrette/sauce; I licked my plate clean. Next, the quail. Again, with a super sauce. Tip: mention that there might be small bones in it. A scropino for dessert. The service was provided by young, extremely friendly staff. I will definitely go back.

I came here to study quietly, but it was anything but quiet: it was very noisy. Furthermore, the coffee was simply cold. To my surprise, I wasn't allowed to take my own water bottle either, because bringing food and drinks from outside is not permitted. I can understand that an establishment enforces this rule regarding personal consumption, but not even being allowed to use a water bottle strikes me as truly absurd. All in all, a disappointing experience, especially if you come here to study in peace.
