Lovely taqueria in Oost. The interior is refreshingly random and not too instagramable or forced. Staff is friendly without trying too hard and the tacos were amazing. Sadly they have limited vegetarian dishes because thevegetarian tacos and tostadas were absolutely TO DIE FOR!! We had the tuna and the mushroom tostadas - the mushroom really blew our minds! For the tacos I chose the pumpkin feta tacos and my partner the lamb tacos. While both were good, the lamb ones were a bit too spicy. But the pumpkin feta tacos (again) stole the show. If I could make a wish, I’d expand the vegetarian Menü a bit. However, all in all we loved it
Very small portions for very high prices. The service needs improvement, and the waiting time for the dishes is extremely, extremely long. When you ask the waiter for something, he goes off to do something else and forgets the request. A restaurant to avoid.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Amsterdam.
I plan to visit this restaurant more than once during my visit to Amsterdam.
Especially since it's very close to Rembrandtplein.
Try it, you won't regret it—it will become your favorite restaurant.
We enjoyed an extensive lunch for a birthday celebration. They serve three courses from the five-course chef's menu for lunch. There was also the option to extend this with a course from the à la carte menu. The waiter who assisted us was friendly and helped us with the wine selection. The wine list is extensive and features some surprising wines, such as a Chenin Blanc from the Loire by Jacky Blot and a Negocese Gamay from La Bohème, Super B, from the Auvergne. We had reserved a table inside, but due to the beautiful weather, we were able to sit outside. You sit on the sidewalk here, but it is a pleasantly spacious terrace on a quiet street. We had a delicious meal and a wonderful afternoon. We will definitely be back.
Awesome sandwiches and coffee. Here are 2 of my lunches!
UPDATE July 2026 - They have a new ice-cream counter here and I tried 4 and all were delicious! The chocolate, orange and hazlenut was exceptional, so too was the fig leaf (not so sure about the leaf but I certainly tasated the fig). The other bowl is 2 sorbets - amazingly smooth for sorbet, the mango was super but the basil and lime was next level!
