When we ate there, the entire place was empty – we were the only customers. Even so, it took quite a while for a server to come to us. The food, however, was prepared fairly quickly.
The ambiance is more reminiscent of a small snack bar than a restaurant, which is probably intentional. The burgers were okay, although the patties could have stayed on the grill a little longer, as they were still quite pink inside. The fries we ordered with them, on the other hand, were very good and nice and crispy.
All in all, it wasn't a bad experience, but the prices are rather high for what's offered.
Unfortunately, the reservation didn't go through despite being made by phone. Luckily, the staff handled it well.
I ordered the weekly special: Nasi with chicken satay. Unfortunately, there was a lot of nasi (to me, too much), a little chicken, an egg, and few vegetables. The chicken was tasty, though. I would have liked a few more vegetables for more balance.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Amsterdam.
I plan to visit this restaurant more than once during my visit to Amsterdam.
Especially since it's very close to Rembrandtplein.
Try it, you won't regret it—it will become your favorite restaurant.
Excellent pizza restaurant. They were super busy but still managed to squeeze us in. Food was really good as was the service. I’d recommend you book a table to avoid disappointment.
We only tried the coffee at Lagom Amsterdam, and it was really good! The biscuit served with the coffee was delicious and a nice touch. The place has a cozy and modern atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Perfect spot to enjoy a quick coffee break while exploring the city ☕️🍪✨.
A truly fantastic experience! We've now been here four times, each time during our Amsterdam vacation, which speaks for itself.
The staff is exceptionally friendly, warm, and always attentive without being intrusive. You feel welcome from the very first moment.
The dishes are authentically Italian! Just like you'd expect from Italy: fresh, flavorful, and prepared with love. Every bite is a reminder of a holiday in Italy.
The whole experience is complemented by a classically chic ambiance with pleasantly subdued lighting, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere.
An absolute must-visit and a staple of our Amsterdam stay! We'll definitely be back! Ciao ✋
Extremely unprofessional. Our reservation was cancelled one hour before arrival, with no meaningful explanation or attempt to accommodate us elsewhere or reschedule. If you’re making plans here, be aware that your reservation may not be honored.
The restaurant is lovely, and the welcome was warm.
The meal was frankly very good.
The only downside was that we were seated near the door, so when people opened it, we got a blast of wind (I had to eat in my coat).
Friendly staff and a great menu. Unfortunately it was just a bit too loud in the restaurant as the conversations from the nearby group made it difficult to enjoy the evening.
