De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Most inadequate service I’ve ever experienced! We had a reservation for three people and initially only 2 chairs were available. Not only that but we had to wait for 15min for the second chair to be given to us. The waiter couldn’t get our order correct not even once - first I received the wrong wine, then my friend never received hers. We kept reminding him and asking for service, and eventually gave up and went to the bar ourselves. Next round, same story. When we tried to get the bill, we asked more than three times and waited for over half an hour, until eventually, again, we went to pay at the bar.

I honestly can't imagine that the one negative experience a guy had 2 months ago is true. I ate there today with 4 friends and the owner was very polite and told us some background knowledge about the food. The food itself was something totally new for me but I instantly liked it. The price is alright a bit pricey however worth the experience. The only thing I would look out for is to bring some time because the owner seems to be alone which means that it takes a while until your food arrives. So to put it in a nutshell it was a excellent experience which I'm willing to repeat.

Maris Piper is a gem in the heart of De Pijp, offering refined dishes with a perfect balance of sweetness and bold flavors. I highly recommend the Beef Wellington, a true delicacy and a treat fit for royalty. The sides are incredible, especially the glazed carrots cooked in carrot juice, an unexpected delight with flavors that surprise in the best way. One of the most honest quality price experiences in Amsterdam, considering the top quality ingredients they use. Don’t forget to pre-order the Wellington!

I’ve been there several times for breakfast/brunch but I won’t go back there anymore cause the service get worse, even though the food is good. We had to wait a really long time.

Good food at a reasonable price, friendly service, but it could all have been a bit more professional: bread only arrived after half an hour and asking twice, dessert which came out of coffee with a small cake arrived too far apart, things like that. Nice space though, with a typical Amsterdam North crowd: young and hip.

You'd better not buy kapsalon here. There is no meat in it. Let alone the other dishes they sell. Rip-off. Never again.

A great place in a truly unique setting that is definitely worth a visit.

I absolutely do not recommend it. Even a small fruit salad costs €12.50, which is crazy for a small dessert, especially for a flavorless ice cream. There are no prices displayed on anything. I only saw it when I had to pay, and it left me speechless. Customers should know the price before buying, not after. I will never go there again.

The service was excellent, a friendly and warm welcome. The atmosphere was lovely, the trilece dessert was better than I expected, I highly recommend it.

Nicely decorated: the walls and decor look great :) However, the way some of the tables are arranged (no flowers or anything) reminded me a bit of a cafeteria. If you want a lot of meat in your meal, this is the place for you. There wasn't enough vegetables, and unfortunately, the chicken tasted like it was very cheap... Service was okay.

Just wow! Really lovely pizza place with an authentic atmosphere and great ambiance! The service was excellent! Friendly, attentive, and very helpful with the menu. The food was delicious too! The tiramisu alone deserves a separate review!
