Came here for a lunch and it was an amazing gastro experience. The service is top notch and the drinks hit the spot. The starters are delicious and a good way to prepare for the really nice main dishes. The pumpkin souffle and the insalate were amazing, the former being one of the nicest things I've tasted. The mains were plentiful, well prepared and mind and reality defying. I loved this experience and they offered us espressos on the house at the end. Quality of everything was exceptional and ill definitely be coming back.
Great steakhouse in Amsterdam! The steak was well cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I would definitely recommend this place if you love good steak.
The location is a bit far and the garden's twists and turns can be a little confusing, but you really must come! The place is amazing, the breakfast is delicious, and the coffee—I ordered a flat white—was perfectly balanced.
Yummy meal! Chicken was delicious, the fries were crispy, and the small potatoes were seasoned very well. Group of 5, we should have ordered more because we loved it so much,
We ordered pasta carbonara and lambrusco bianco. The impressions are mixed - it seems delicious, the sauce is delicate in the pasta, but it seems like it was cooked at home, I want something tastier from a restaurant. We are used to the fact that they put egg yolk and parmesan in carbonara, here there was only spaghetti in sauce and bacon. Lambrusco is delicious, but for some reason there was a smell of fish.. I don't know, maybe it should be like that, but it hasn't happened before. The girls (staff) are friendly, it's easy and pleasant to communicate
We visit twice a year around our birthdays, and every time the experience remains fascinating and delicious. The team provides a very warm and attentive service in their beautiful traditional Japanese “ensemble” and the wine selection is excellent. The sommelier is highly knowledgeable and shares his expertise with genuine passion.
Thank you.
Been here twice before with the previous (now seemingly old) menu, and on both occasions the food and service were incredible — easy 5 stars. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge letdown and I’ve had to drop my rating to 2 stars.
Prices have seemingly doubled in the last six months. €24 for a burrito that was genuinely about the size of half a slice of toast is extremely hard to justify. While the flavour was okay and there was a decent amount of birria beef, the portion was very small overall. To make matters worse, it came with two single tortilla chips and a smear of sauce, which honestly felt insulting at that price point.
My partner ordered chicken wings for €13. The portion size itself was reasonable, but charging an extra €2 for sauce is ridiculous. The wings were dry, almost burnt, and only lightly seasoned with a mild “Mexican-style” flavour.
They also ordered a quesadilla — something you could easily make better at home. It had barely any tomatoes in it, lacked flavour, and €11 for half a quesadilla is shocking.
It really feels like prices have either increased across the board or were inflated because it was around New Year’s. Either way, it’s a business practice I can’t support. This place has gone from a must-visit to “we’ll give it one more chance
