The atmosphere was really nice and different. It takes you back to the 80’s. I really loved the vintage touch to it. The food was good quality too. The pasta was tasty and the rest as well. The only down part is the fact that you can’t order tap water. They tried to sell you us bottled water only. We told the waiter that she couldn’t refuse us tap water. In France it’s not allowed to deny tap water in restaurants. Anyways, apart from that, the service was good. Bravo
Great Indian Gugrati and Punjabi food, confirmed by Indian cuisine lovers directly from India. All additional requests fulfilled with grace and kindness. I recommend to try paneer palak/ spinach with cheese medium spicy<3
If you like more spicy take chana dhal.
Most of tables are for maximum 4 peoples, but the owner has managed to join tables for 6 without any inconvenience to other guests.
Walls are covered with beautifull paintings, but toilets could be renovated.
An advantage is close do distance to the Centraal Station 3-4 min walk.
Absolutely unforgettable speakeasy experience in Amsterdam! 🥂✨ Moyō upstairs at Paindemie is pure magic — the vibe is intimate and stylish, the cocktails and sake are superb, and the food is next-level. The unreal Wagyu melts in your mouth and the tuna dishes are insanely fresh and perfectly seasoned — true highlights of the menu. Chef Gui works real alchemy with flavors and presentation, making every bite feel special. Friendly service, great energy, and genuinely one of the best hidden gems in the city. Highly recommend!
A lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, the portions weren't huge, but the main courses were good. We weren't as impressed with the desserts. The service was good and friendly. All in all, a great experience and definitely worth it.
It’s a nice place but the service is not great. I waited 20 min to place an order, then another 20 to receive a drink, and my tosti still didn’t arrive after 1.5 hours of waiting..
Great atmosphere and really good service. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome right away. The place has a nice vibe, good music, and it’s perfect both for a relaxed drink or to start the night. Definitely a spot I’d come back to
The staff were very friendly, but some vegetables like the broccoli were raw, which could be improved. The cheese fondue was delicious and reasonably priced.
